Community involvement
Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.
Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)
Our P&C is a group of parents, carers and school community members. They assist with school planning, fundraising, events and volunteering. Our P&C works in partnership with our school to promote the interests of our school community.
Joining the P&C a great way to meet other families, get involved and contribute to our school's future. We would love to have you on board!

Out of School Hours Care (HHOOSH)
Hunters Hill Out of School Hours (HHOOSH) is managed by a sub-committee of the Hunters Hill Public School P&C. The committee consists of a President, Secretary and Treasurer, who are available to discuss matters related to the care of children at the Centre.
HHOOSH provides high-quality care for children aged 5–12 years from Hunters Hill Public School. The service supports families who require care for their children outside of school hours due to work, study or other commitments.
We are located on the ground floor of the Eulbertie Building. Children may attend on either a regular or casual basis.
Our program includes a variety of indoor and outdoor experiences, ranging from arts and crafts to sports, with a balance of structured and unstructured activities.
Our aim is to create a safe, welcoming and relaxed environment where children and educators feel supported and where positive interactions and cooperation are encouraged.

Book Club
At Hunters Hill Public School, we’re excited to run our Book Club with Scholastic! Twice each term, your child will bring home a catalogue filled with a wide range of books at affordable prices—perfect for fostering a love of reading.
When families order through Book Club, our school also earns reward points that go straight back into purchasing new teaching resources and library books for all students to enjoy.
Ordering is quick and easy—just jump online at www.scholastic.com.au or download the Scholastic app from the App Store or Google Play.
Once orders close, your child’s books will arrive in their classroom within 2–3 weeks, ready to be enjoyed.
